It was around 8am when my mom woke me up from my heavenly sleep because my dad is requesting for something. It was cool and I was not irritated ('coz I really get pissed off when disturbed while sleeping..ehhe). After that I turned my laptop on, plurked, and cooked for breakfast. I was about to call my dear hubby Mike when I noticed something different about him. Well, I just kept it within myself and continue all the mommy things that I suppose to do.
It was 12noon when he blurted out something about our son Jian's milk... he had used the last scoop. We have nothing left. I just stare.
Basically, my hubby is a freelance web programmer. Having the time in your hands, being close to your family, saving money for the fare when traveling to work, good amount of cash (if you'll work double time), safe from hold ups, accidents and all are just few of the advantages of working at home. But my hubby's dillema (actually, OUR dilemma) is the unpredictable day of pay day. I have nothing against the employer/s. I know all about them through my everyday conversation with Mike, and their really good. It's just that there are some situations that we can't be prepared for. And for a single situation, if money is envolved, it's really a matter of life and death.
I can't blame Xoom or PayPal for this even if it's causing a lot of trouble when they delay the salary because of system errors or whatever. But really, if the budget for the month is delayed, it's so aggravating.
Oh well.. what can we do. All we have to do now, is to hope, pray and wait. (-_-)
