A week had passed and my vow to make a 5 days (online) Father's day tribute to my hubby was busted. The third day was actually spent taking care of my beloved since he got flu which I thought was A(h1N1) even we didn't go to the malls this past few weeks. Being the paranoid mom as I was, I intently check my hubby's temperature every four hours and scrutinize him for any vital signs of the pandemic virus. Having our baby sleep with us every night makes me worry to the nth level if baby Jian would have fever too.
A day before Father's day, my dear hubby did not feel well still even the fever had subside. But I already missed my kiddo so much that I asked Jian's yaya to sleep in their room already because she's the one sleeping with my baby every night as I was with my hubby checking his temperature all through the night. Me and my baby played until he got so tired at 12 midnight. But the, we slept soundly and happily after that.
Father's Day came and my hubby is 100% well but my little angel seems a bit ill so we managed to celebrate the ocassion indoor together with my mom, dad, bro and cousins. I also did a impromptu slide show presentation using Windows Movie Maker for my Papa to give him a Father's Day gift from me and my 3 brothers. He said it almost made him teary eyed so I wanted to share this video to all of you.
Thank God when yesterday came and our long awaited salary from Vancouver Canada was sent by the bosses, so, Daddy Mike together with my baby Jian and Jian's Ate Rosel went to Jollibee to have a post Father's Day celebration. I can't thank Jollibee enough for the wonderful memories I spent in his humble home. I actually did a tribute post in the older entries here in my blog to Jollibee about the unforgetable memories I spent with him. (Even the pregnancy test for my baby Jian was taken at Jollibee... And as of the moment, we're back to work and quite asking daddy if we can watch transformers later or on weekends.Hehe
The whole week was full of ups and downs - a week delayed salary, daddy being sick and baby seems infected with daddy's virus (peace dad!hehe) - and before the week ends everything went okay and I am so grateful that God answered all of my prayers. Glory to you Oh, Lord! wink* wink*
