Excerpt from me and my hubby's then-bestfriends theme song. The line said it all. He brought me back to life - from being a suicidal hopeless romantic, I learned to believe in love. I found the beauty inside my heart and the rest was history. He became my bestfriend, an angel, my knight and now my lifetime partner. He taught me to live life and gave me the biggest reason for us to hold hands forever. He's the only other half that makes me whole. =)

This is actually one of my baby Jian's favorite songs.hehe While we were waiting for his daily dosage of Spongebob Square Pants on Nickelodeon at 10pm, Miranda Cosgrove's MTV on this song was shown. I thought my baby would get irritated coz he always screech whenever the commercial breaks in but he did not! And to me and my hubby's surprise, he wanted us to alternately high five him. When we looked at the screen, teeny bopper Miranda Cosgrove was actually giving a high five to some friends. Hahaha Jian looks like a teenager when he does that to us! We can't keep but laugh out loud everytime he comes near us and ask for a high five too. We're so convinced that our baby boy is growing up so fast.=)

I love the melody of the song but when I look up for the lyrics, I was so disappointed. =( I can relate, actually. Me and my hubby do. Witnessing someone cheats is very shocking and somehow makes you back to reality that some "love" would never last for long. We still cannot get over with what we saw when he treated me on mother's day last May. We can't believe that the cheater can actually act normal behind those cheating moment me and my hubby witnessed. (You can click H E R E if you're so damn intrigued about it.wink*)But anyway, that's a dirty little secret so better keep mum too. =)

I love my Dad. Long ago I prayed to God to give me a husband like my dad and, I did not fail.=) With all the stories mama would tell us about Papa's way of courting her, aja! only a real princess could be treated that way. Papa is my all time favorite Lover Boy and Lover Dad. As I grew up, I came to realize that me, his Unica Hija, is his true-loved princess. I still can perfectly remember how he told me not to get married if the doctor's hunch of me having an ectopic pregnancy is true(because I had bleeding on my first trimester and a super painful feeling like I'm having a dysmenorrhea). Papa just can't bear that his little girl would be taken care of another man before long.hehe Papa is so loving. I did not recognize it soon enough but atleast I am now.=)

Oh well, this is a love song but I will relate this to my mom.=) Literally, her voice is my thunder..hehe She never fails to remind me about anything - taking care of baby and doing household chores even I have a helper/Jian's yaya, cooking with love(I ask her if my tastebuds tell me that I am missing something), doing business(she's a pro when it comes to gambling your hard earned money, making sure that it's a win-win situation and nothing will go to waste), taking care of daddy Mike(Mama shows more concern for him than me and Mike is so ever thoughtful of her) and the list goes on and on and on. Just like my Dad I love her more than anything else. She's my bestfriend. Haven't realized it early enough but maybe because I was the typical maldita of the clan. But of course a lot of them misunderstood me because I do not talk a lot but acts like a Mad Man when I'm angry. I got the character since I'm the only rose among the thorns. Luckily, I did not end a tomboy, still, thanks to my mom. Sigh, nothing can ever replace her... She's unlike any other... She'll always be my thunder!hehehe And what others always say, daughters grow up most likely like their mothers, and I guess, I will too... soon. wink*

Aside from a biggest fan of Parokya ni Edgar whom influenced me too, my brother Paul is the great Absorbing Man in the family. I look up to him on the patience he shows to each one of us. I am actually the one who lit up instantly when provoked so he became my inspiration to remain poised. Not a 100% sponge he is but we're becoming a bit the same as we grow older - bursting just before anyone would know we have reached our limitation of patience.hehehe

This song is meant for me - A hopeless romantic, addicted to fairy tales, a frustrated princess and a love story addict. Just like what me and my hubby's love story was -maybe also the same for those who married early just like us.hehehe You have to download the song, I love it.^^
