Goldilocks' and Nuffnang's Bloggers Event 2009

Commuting from Calamba Laguna to the emerging "sosy" place of Bonifacio High Street was exciting for me and my ever dearest Mike. We haven't been to the place until last Friday, August 7, to attend our second bloggers event sponsored by our beloved Goldilocks(1st one was with Nuffnang's "Confession of a Shopaholic" movie contest)! As we travel, we were actually full of hope to win something even a Gift Certificate (yes, as we suspected, there was...) will do for what we had submitted, but unfortunately, O U R E N T R Y wasn't enough to win the judges' hearts. The days and nights of hardwork finding the old pictures, writing for the draft and doing the layout to satisfy our standard of creativity had gone to waste. Well maybe the pictures as proofs of making Goldilocks trully the one for us were not really "The One" they were looking for. Our heart sank. Who wouldn't?! The Grand price was an ASUS F80Q and instead of 3 HP minis, 5 runner ups would each get a mini laptop (a NEO, much cheaper but wiser for them to accomodate 2 additional winners), and 4 GCs (Gift Certificates) worth 2,500php! But as we walked around BHC and talked about how the event went well, we were so happy we did become a part of the contest! That's for real, promise! haha^^


First reason to be grateful would be:

Goldilocks' hunky endorser, Mr. Dingdong Dantes!

Having him with us made me feel a VIP! =) He was about to go to his table as he was called by someone but when he noticed me and my hubby (about to get near him) to take a picture with him, he stopped, put his arms around us and smiled. He's so sweet and accomodating. Haven't hear him talking to me but his actions is more meaningful than ever and I look up to him even more for that!=)


Second reason: Juddha Paolo!

And my third and greatest reason is:

My Freebies!

(A decorate-yourself-cake, a bag and magazines from Summit Media)

Oh, I so love the freebies! If not for those, I would be so sad and I guess my heart would be sunken for years...hehe Kidding aside, I really love getting them. It made my day! Even if I did not bring home the bacon, I still felt a winner!

When I actually get hold of my decorate-yourself-cake, I can't wait to open the box and actually decorate the cake and forget about the laptops and the food, and Dingdong, and eveything! I dunno but after getting our food and taking our seats, I was so agitated to bring out my cake but instead of making an "A" for presentation, it was worst. I did not even bother to take a picture for what I had done. I sliced it right after we get home and gave it to my mom and dad for a midnight snack.

The magazines were read the day after. I so love reading with those glossy prints. It's far off different reading over the net and all. I missed having magazines. Even having back issues, I still love it, as in!^^

With all these reasons, everything is all worth it! wink*

Oh, before I forget, I would also like to magnify the sumptuous Goldilock's specialties that had been pouring non-stop. It satisfied my cravings big deal! I truly love their cakes and for me, nothing would surpass it. Yumyum! Even if I did not win, I won't still change my cake preference. It will always be Goldilocks! Still Goldilocks, Goldilocks, and more Goldilocks! Weee!
