Now that Typhoon Pepeng(International Name, Parma) is about to go out from the Philippine Area of Responsibility, I now have the courage to recognize good news coming my way!=D
First, I want to thank God for sparing the areas here in the Philippines where Typhoon Ondoy (International Name, Ketsana) engulfed us with floodwater leaving us broken physically, financially and emotionally. But we too, prayed for our countrymen affected by Typhoon Pepeng/Parma. Thank God what had happened in Manila did not happened to them.
Since prayers can move mountains, me and my family are so overwhelmed as we saw floodwater seize and people in our neighboring streets are coming back. Our Filipino spirit kept us united. Our faith in God made a miracle. We shouldn't stop praying coz maybe tomorrow or the next day, Satan will test our faith again, so we better be ready and armed with prayers. (May God bless us all!)
Second, I won 3rd Place for Lali.Amora's Blog Candy last September 19, 2009! I'm actually feeling so excited to have swatches of my chosen MAC lipstick shades any day from October 5, the day Erica is about to ship the prices from Texas, USA! Talking about my first time as a contest winner in a Blog Candy! It made me eager to join some more...hehe
Last but not the least, Pink Notes Diary is an official finalist for The Philippine Blog Awards 2009: Blog Design Category! I was so ecstatic when Sissy Chiklets of My Orange Vest and Sissy Niqabi informed me that I was indeed in the list. I was hesitant to check the site at first since PBA already emailed a lot of my Blogger Friends including me as their nominees for different categories. So as I arrived on the PBA site, I was literally hysterical as I saw 9 co-bloggers chosen as finalists in the Blog Design Category too! It's an awesome privilege to be one of the finalist of this event. And being in the awards night will make me feel like a winner too! So on October 9, 2009 at 5 in the afternoon, me and other finalist will be in PETA Theater to witness the 3rd Philippine Blog Awards having "One Blogging nation" as their theme! I'll be tagging my hubby along and hopefully we'll bring home the bacon.hehe (As if! wink*) Wish me luck!
