My Little Man's 3rd Birthday

It seems like yesterday when I was still having that very dark circle around my eyes, those grumpy early mornings of feeding and lulling my little boy to sleep and those oh so time juggling activities for my hubby's needs, my baby's, and the household chores. It seems like yesterday that I experienced my first stressful night when I cannot sleep as my little munchkin cries every two hours and my laundry is piling up so I have to wash our clothes as early as 2am that made my hubby very very angry. I really thought I wouldn't get through. I didn't know it will actually make me an expert in the process.

After almost 3 years of those adjustments and acceptance, I just can't believe before my eyes, that the little boy who transformed me to a mature individual is about to turn 3. He's such an adorable little kid who I never thought he'll be because of his behavior when he was still a baby. But looking at him is such a heavenly feeling. It's the feeling of contentment and happiness I know I will never have again in this life. When he first went home bringing me a small flower after playing outside the house, right there I knew my little boy's growing to be a sweet man. I know I'll be witnessing an awesome gift from God through this kid. He's a living angel. An angel holding my hand, embracing me and kissing me goodnight until my last breath.

I was writing inside our room when Jian started yelling,
"Flowers! Flowers!" after playing outside the house.
Then he went inside where I was, and gave this to me.
A flower not bigger than my thumbnail,
but has filled my heart big time...
A mommy's treasured moment forever. =)

Happy almost 3rd birthday my son! Mommy and Daddy love you so much. In time, I know you'll get across my blog and read all the beautiful moments I had with you. Always bear in mind that mommy will always be there to celebrate your growth, cheer for you and love you unconditionally. All I want is to mold you to be a good man, or better yet to say, the best man that God wants you to be. Just make Him your Guide, your Shepherd and your only Lord, and everything else will fall perfectly right into places. I love you Jian. You are mommy's first baby, forever. =)

And yes, we are actually ready for your big day!
I prepared this for a couple of months, fitting everything to our monthly budget
just to make sure that on the month of your birthday,
everything are up and good.
And you know, God agreed on my plans for you,
so your humble party will surely pursue.
I love you son, and I hope when you get old,
you'll know how much I love you with this.
I personally planned and prepared for this, Jian.
All the way I was thinking of you.
I was thanking the Lord for you.
Me and Daddy want to share our joy every year for having you.
It may not be as great as other birthday celebrations,
but you know we put our whole hearts into every celebrations for you.
