Ever since my hubby started home-based work almost two years ago, he just occupy a small space in the corner of our room as his work space. It's not that bad but whenever his client calls him in the middle of the night, my kids and I are always having our sleep disturbed, but, we are never bothered about it as we get used to it as time goes by. But then there comes yesterday when my dad blurted out a plan he and my mom made about building a small room as my hubby's office! I was really excited and agreed in a snap. =)
My dad presented a floor plan of hubby's office yesterday as I was doing a draft of the interior of the room. We decided to still use the current table that my hubby's using and will just improvised a small table at the other end of the room. I also suggested a few wall-mounted shelves for office stuffs. I found a lot of ready-made wall-mounted shelves already on a number of Furniture Stores but I would like to re-create something like the picture below:
But of course, I still have to ask hubby and dad if this design is okay with them...hehehe I really can't wait for it to get started. So as I wait, I'll still search some more interior design that would suit a small working space that would not compromise its functionality. Also, would definitely look at some furniture that could be added inside the room. Haay... I can't really hide my anticipation as the clock strikes every hour! =D
