We went to Tagaytay City!
While having a lovely ride, we passed by a pineapple ranch where a lot of people's selling pineapples. It's in season so I bet those were sweet! I abruptly told hubby to stop by the next store. And when I get out of the car, my hubby took this shot without my permission.hehe I got 7 large pineapples for only 100Php! I know I had a good deal when I tasted it at home. They were ripe and very very sweet! I'll be buying again if I'll ever got a chance to get back. ;)
Anyhow, after buying pineapples, we went straight to Picnic Grove to eat lunch. Entrance fee for the car was 35Php aside from the 50Php/head of adults and kids. Children below 4years old are free so I did not pay for my kids' , only for my brother who I tagged along (for him to enjoy the vacation and also a prize for giving me a hand every time I needed one).
As usual, my eldest did not eat a lot since he wanted to play and fly a kite. It always makes me mad every time he doesn't eat. Sigh* But then after just a few spoonful of rice with bulalo, I agreed to him to play with his uncle. We enjoyed the view of Taal Volcano for a while before we went to our next stop: Horseback Riding! =)
We're all going to ride a horse for the first time! =D
My youngest bro! =)
Jian had fun the most. We had an hour ride for 200Php. It was wort it.
After Horseback Riding, we took a walk to look over the place. As always, Tagaytay's cold weather embraced us. I loved it. Hubby loved it. The kids loved it too. =)
When the sun was about to set, we packed our things up and headed home. But we passed by a small chapel that invited our senses so we stopped by and discovered the beauty it has.
Just as I was about to take pictures of the paintings outside, the caretaker informed me that the chapel will be closed after 5minutes. So, we hurriedly went inside, uttered a small prayer and left. I promised to come back and be more intimate with the Lord the second time around. The place was serene and I am so looking for a place like that. I guess Easter Sunday gave a beautiful gift to me by discovering this peaceful and beautiful place.
Thank you Lord! Happy Easter everyone! Hope you too had a great and meaningful Easter Sunday. =)
