It was a sunny day indeed, and I am so thankful for an answered prayer. But, my heart was in misery as my eldest son suffered from an asthma attack a night before and it did continue the next day as we reached White Cove Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. You know it always breaks my heart seeing him breathing hard because of asthma. I did want to look away for me to enjoy the day even for a while but my motherly heart kept on beating frantically. I was really expecting for my son to get better since sea breeze and bathing unto it cures asthma as my mama and papa said. But, too bad it was in its worst so we just have to nebulized him twice in the beach. It could be much more fun for my eldest if he wasn't having his asthma attack. :(
Anyhow, hubby still managed to take some shots of me and my youngest kid to document White Cove's beauty as my Jian enjoyed the sea waves with his cousins, as if he wasn't sick. =)
Me and my pretty pretty princess Keila when we decided to call it a day.She was actually having tantrums this day since she was having colds.
Having a hot weather adds up to her not so good mood so we settled here,
a very nice area to feel the sea breeze. =)
Us, right after we got up from the sea. =)The sand is much better than what we experienced in Acuatico Beach Resort,
but I personally prefer the latter if we'll be talking about cleanliness of the beach.
Here's my eldest son, Jian, with his cousins, Alodia & Albert, having fun in the sand!
My hubby's younger siblings, Gelo & Mai-Mai, took a jump shot to check-out hubby's new baby, Nikon D3100.
It's indeed a perfect jump shot! The sand has also been captured nicely, eh?=)
The ever so sexy & beautiful Wagan girls in our sea-side picnic hut!My 5-yr-old niece, Alodia, was having so much fun at the sea so she wasn't here when hubby took this shot. (Sayang...)
Over-all, we had a great family bonding time. White Cove offers a budget-friendly fees for the entrance and picnic huts. One thing that I just don't feel at ease with the place is the Laiya beach which is so polluted compared to the beaches in Acuatico and its nearby beach resorts such as Blue Coral, Sabangan, etc. White Cove's beach is a bit brownish on the shore with lotsa twigs floating around. Too bad for my little Keila. Maybe if we didn't experience a very clean beach shore area, I'll settle for White Cove's beauty. But then, what we were after is a family bonding time so the place's cleanliness is not a big issue. It's just that hopefully next year, my kuya Jian won't have any asthma attack anymore for his parents to fully enjoy whatever bonding time our family would have. *ehem* hehe =)
Just before we got home!
Fine, fine sand! =)'Til next time, White Cove!
